Honda’s new hydrogen powered FCX Clarity

The FCX Clarity emits nothing but pure water from the exhaust, it requires no petrol because it converts hydrogen and oxygen into electricity and the FCX Clarity will run for 270 miles on one fill of hydrogen.

The top speed is 100 miles per hour and it can reach 60 in 7 seconds.

The bad news … the FCX clarity will not be available to buy in the UK.

Bad, bad cars

5 cars that in one way or another make you cringe.

  1. Smart ForTwo – HANDLING – nervous through corners, no front-end grip, skinny tyres stuggle, especially in the wet.
  2. Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 – CO2 EMISSIONS – 495g/km, not Ken Livingstone’s car of choice.
  3. Proton Satria Neo – INTERIOR – the ugliest, most dated and cheap looking interior available.
  4. Nissan Patrol GR 3.0DI Trek – BRAKES – at 70mph, the Patrol takes more than 68 metres to come to a halt.
  5. Peugeot 607 - DEPRECIATION – with a shocking residual value of 22.9% the 607 has to be one of the worst decisions you could make when buying a new car.
