Transport in the UK accounts for 23% of carbon dioxide emissions

According to a Department of Transport survey the level of emissions from transport has risne by a massive 52% since the 1980’s. The traffic volume and car ownership being at an all time high explains this result.

 The survey points out the 60% of the vehicles on the road only have 1 person, the driver on board. Car sharing does not seem to have taken off …

Green luxury / performance cars

Not many manufacturers that produce luxury / performance cars are able to boast that their cars are also green. Jaguar are an exception to this and their Jaguar X-Type has in the 2.0D S, 2.0D SE, 2.0D Sport Premium and the 2.0D Sovereign cars that fall into eco band C which is for cars whose emissions are less than 150g/km.
