The space in my estate is better than in a Mondeo that I used to have and I wouldn't go back to another saloon. I suggest M Matthews asks for a test drive of a Focus Econetic estate before being so dismissive about small estate cars. Alternatively he could just drive a petrol vehicle and waste twice as much fuel! It has served our family very well. We thought we would buy a roof-box for the odd time when we needed to carry more, but we still haven't needed to buy one.
