Green cars boost Peugeot sales

Peugeot have announced that sales of their green cars are soaring. Its cars with low CO2 emissions, such as the economical 107 city car which has seen a 16% increase in sales. Diesel models have also been in demand for their lower operating costs.

Peugeot UK boss Pierre Louis Colin, says: “We are pleased with the performance of our small and efficient vehicles, which address the growing needs of our customers. We now have 25 models that fall within Band B for cars emitting 120g/km of CO2 or less, which attract the low £35 annual road tax.”
