Toyota works in tandem with vehicle dismantling network Autogreen to provide end-of-life vehicle recycling and disposal services.This means that all Toyota and Lexus customers are provided with a free take-back service from January 1 2007.

Autogreen represents more than 250 vehicle recycling sites around then UK ensuring that Toyota and Lexus customers have access to services in their area.

Since 2001 Toyota has been using a recycling technical in Japan to explore effective dismantling and recycling technologies, as well as vehicle designs that make recycling easier.
