Chrysler LLC is working on a brand new line of electric cars – and will be revealing them to dealers this week.
The company had debuted three different electric drive concept cars at the Detroit Auto Show back in January. These included the Chrysler ecoVoyager Concept, which is an electric vehicle with a fuel cell range extender; the Jeep Renegade Concept, which is an electric with a BLUETEC diesel range extender; and the Dodge Zeo Concept, which is a battery electric vehicle that has a massive 250 mile range.
The company has thus far been unspecific about the content of next week’s video conference but the next generation of plug-in electric cars will be showcased.
At the time of their original debut at the Detroit Auto Show, Chrysler stated that it would implement production of one of more of these vehicles in the not-too-distant future in an attempt to appeal to customer needs and address challenges such as global warming.
It remains to be seen which of these concepts will come to life… but we will find out soon!
