SMART new model

Smart FortwoThe manufacturer of micro-sized cars SMART has announced the launch of a new variant to their popular fortwo model. From November customers in the UK will have the option to purchase either a 61hp or 71hp micro hybrid drive fortwo, that features an automatic stop/start functionality which will return fuel savings of up to 23 per cent and CO2 emissions of around 103 g/km.

Working in conjunction with SMART’s automated manual transmission it makes no additional demands on the driver and works seamlessly with a belt-driven starter generator.

The manufacturer has also taken the opportunity to improve other aspects of the vehicle with upgraded instrument cluster, new net storage areas in the doors and new exterior finishes.

Prices start at just a whisker over £7,000 on the road!
