Partnership turns cars green

The race to create green cars doesn’t just revolve around fresh concepts and exciting innovations – it also involves creating something new out of something old.

That’s the case at High Output Engineering, which traditionally transforms high horsepower cars into vehicles with even more impressive performance statistics. Now however, it’s turning muscle cars green.

The company, located on the sun coast, has joined forces with Evolve It Motors which is expanding across the country to create and plug-in electric vehicles.

According to Dave Graves, the owner of High Output Engineering, the prospect of working with electric cars is exciting. He says that the automobiles are not only affordable but “able to keep up with today’s standards”. Peter Hansen meanwhile, owner of Evolve It Motors, believes that training people to work on green jobs can make a huge difference.

The partnership does not end there, however. Braille Battery, a Sarasota based company, is also in on the act creating a lighter and more efficient battery for the vehicles in an effort to attract eco-conscious consumers.
