The Race to Plug-In Hybrids Is On

A powerful roster of key industry players in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle arena will come together at Infocast’s Opportunities in Grid-Connected Mobility in San Francisco, California. This event, which will take place at the Marines’ Memorial Club and Hotel, is a new high-level Conference focused on delivering a unique insight into the best investments plays, and offering a robust setting for growing relationships and making deals.

A key goal of the Obama administration is to have one million ‘PHEVs’ or a fully electric vehicle on the road by 2015. The new administration’s stimulus package allots $2B for advanced batteries, $300M for federal and states fleets to buy new clean fuel vehicles and $7,500 tax rebate for PHEV, with yet more money in the Auto-Industry Re-tooling fund. No on has a lock on this future; everything is up for grabs.

The Conference is a cutting edge event designed to provide the latest market intelligence on the emerging “Smart Garage” business eco-system. Investors, entrepreneurs, policy makers, car companies large and small, supplies, utilities, analysts and demand response aggregators will convene to map out and deploy the electric mobility industry of tomorrow. The Conference will play host to some of the industry’s leading players, including Better Place, Aerovironment, California Energy Commission, California EPA and ISO, CALSTAR, Coulomb Technologies, IBM Global Energy and Utilities Industry, Phoenix Motorcars, Southern California Edison and many more. Introductory and discount rates are available.
