Ronn Motors H2GO Real Time Hydrogen Injection System provides 22% CO2 reductions

Ronn Motor Company, Inc.  today clarified and expanded upon the H2GO™ computerized test data for engines.

Detailed results can be viewed on ’ website at http://www.ronnmotors.com/h2go.

Ronn Motors CEO, Ron Maxwell, commented, “We have completed exhaustive research, extensive testing and retesting, dedicating thousands of man hours in our quest for the ultimate solution. During this time, we have established that our proprietary electronics for the H2GO™ system can be easily tuned to attain very impressive and significant fuel mileage improvements. However, the most significant fuel savings come at a cost, and that cost is a major sacrifice of emissions reduction. As such, we have made a conscious decision to tune the electronics, such that our H2GO™ system delivers a reasonable balance between emission reduction and improved fuel economy.”

The following is a summary of results obtained from testing the H2GO™ system on a 2007 Lincoln Navigator with a Ford 5.4 Litre Engine (the Ford family 4.6 litre engines show similar results). The test results, at predetermined settings indicate a NOx reduction (dependent on vehicle speed) varying from 0% to 94.4%. By simply adjusting electronics and refining a few internal values (to be on the production version) the NOx reduction is expected to vary from 50% to 94.4% on the Ford family of engines. Hydrocarbon emissions were reduced by an average of 70.26% during the test and once the electronics have been appropriately adjusted, RMC expects hydrocarbon emission reduction to average 84%.

With preset values, test results indicated a fuel mileage improvement of 8.16% to 18.18%, depending on vehicle speed. With the stated adjustment and re-tuning of the electronics, RMC expects the H2GO™ system to deliver fuel economy improvement in the 18% to 22% range for this Ford family of engines to maximize exhaust emission reductions. These improved adjustments will be on the production systems. CO2 production is a function of fuel burned per hour and the CO2 emissions will decrease in the same percentage as mileage increases (i.e. a 22% percent improvement in fuel mileage will result in an approximate 22% reduction of CO2 emissions).

Results are similar for the 2002 Lincoln Navigator. The test results show a NOx reduction of 5.8% to 78.7% with an expected improvement after electronic adjustment to be in the 20% to 78.7% range. Hydrocarbon reduction indicated 48.4% in the test and should improve to 73.7%. As well, fuel economy results indicated an improvement of 3.4% to 15.8%. With the re-tuning of the electronics for production, improvements from 18% to 21% should be seen.

Maxwell stated, “With the amount of extensive and exhaustive research that has been completed, we believe that we have found the sweet spot for tuning our H2GO™ electronics for this Ford family of engines, to provide the perfect balance of reduced emissions and improved fuel economy. We plan to provide similar results for all engine types by specifically testing and tuning the electronics of our H2GO™ production systems. Our corporate goal has always been to deliver technology that provides a positive environmental impact through significantly reduced emissions and improved fuel mileage.”

Ronn Motors will be going to market with the H2GO™ systems, initially targeting diesel powered over-the-road trucking fleets including GM, Cummins, Caterpillar & Detroit Diesel power plants, along with Ford family of 5.4 and 4.6 liter gasoline powered engines. This family of Ford engines is used extensively across the country in both law enforcement and official government vehicles, representing a large segment of the fleet market. The Company will be updating test results on a continual basis, as more engine types are added.

Headquartered in Horseshoe Bay, Texas, Ronn Motor Company, Inc. is a design and manufacturing company focused on the leading edge engineering of environmentally friendly, finely built premium automobiles and technology. These systems include Hydrogen Fuel, Fuel cells, and Plug in-electrics. These features, coupled with RMC’s core values of a strong sense of ethics, environmental sensitivity and premium quality, positions the Company as one of the new leaders in an automotive industry transitioning toward fuel efficiency.
