Social network launched for the Volt

We’ve long had the feeling here at TheGreenCarWebsite.co.uk that the Chevrolet Volt was going to be something special.

It’s not just that it has some highly impressive credentials and that it appears to be truly innovative; but the fact that the vehicle has been subject of overwhelming anticipation and speculation. Here, we have arguably received more comments and feedback about the Volt than any other vehicle.

So it’s no surprise then that with tongues wagging about the car, Chevrolet has gone ahead and launched a new social network designed for conversation and dialogue about the Chevy Volt and other electric vehicles.

The site will features videos and news, as well as an interactive forums section.

At the moment you will find a short video there offering an overview of the Volt prototype build – the integrated vehicle engineering release. According to GM this is the first video in a series that will chronicle the building of a number of prototypes.

To check out the social network, click here.

All we ask is that once you’ve finished chatting you come back here to TheGreenCarWebsite.co.uk for all your independent Volt news!
