Lexus to unveil its premium concept car

Not content with soaring sales in its home country and sky high orders for the HS250h, the luxury division of Toyota is now preparing to launch a .

Lexus unveiled the first official sketch of the vehicle to the media earlier this week and the car will be revealed for the first time at the forthcoming .

So what have we learned from the sketch?

Well it gives a sneak peek at the design direction of the concept that seems to package Lexus strengths into a compact format. In a short statement, the company said it will demonstrate a mix of technical innovations and ground breaking designs that will raise the bar in the premium compact segment.

If so, you don’t have too long to wait – the first glimpse is scheduled for the Lexus Press conference at the Frankfurt event on September 15.
