Pick up a greener C3 Picasso

The C3 Picasso has been tweaked to bring it under the all important sub-120g/km of CO2 category.

Adjusted to produce just 119g/km,the C3 Picasso 1.6HDi 16v 90hp diesel engine variant now sits in tax band C reducing the annual road tax on the model from £120 to just £35.

The ‘re-homologated’ engine, available in the VTR+ & Exclusive trim levels, used to emit 125g/km of CO2. Through some clever tweaks, Citroen has improved both the eco-credentials and ownership value of the 1.6 HDi C3 Picasso to now deliver an extra 2.7mpg on the combined cycle, bringing the new figure to 62.8mpg.

Introduced just earlier this year, the C3 Picasso is now also available with an option for a Bluetooth upgrade on the VTR+ and Exclusive models too. As part of the new option pack – an integrated Bluetooth® hands-free system has been introduced, so drivers can safely and easily keep in touch when they are on the move. This new option also includes a built-in USB Box and socket, which allows users to connect a portable MP3 player directly to the car’s audio system. Menu navigation and music selection is managed via the steering-mounted and dashboard radio controls, with song titles displayed on the radio screen.
