The increasing importance of the Middle East as a developing automotive market has received further affirmation as Honda unveiled plans to stage the world premiere of the Honda New Small Concept at the Auto Expo 2010 to be held in New Delhi, India, from January 5-11, 2010.
Honda is developing the vehicle especially for India and other emerging nations. However, it is only one of several Honda vehicles that will be on display at the event.
Also making an appearance will be the Honda CR-Z Concept 2009, a concept model for a new hybrid vehicle which was first unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in October, 2009. The company will also showcase production models including the City 1.5V; the Jazz; the Civic, which underwent a minor model change in September; the Accord V6; and the CR-V, which underwent a minor model change in November, 2009.
In addition, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (Private) Ltd will exhibit a new 110cc motorcycle model known as the CB Twister. It will be the first time the bike has been showcased, while Hero Honda Motors Ltd will also exhibit a variety of motorcycle products as well.
