Vauxhall is extending its ecoFLEX thinking to offer all its drivers the chance to benefit from a new service which could help them maximise their miles to the gallon.
The new ecoFLEX Fuel Efficiency Service specifically addresses aspects of a vehicle which can contribute to unnecessary fuel usage. Driving with underinflated tyres is a very common culprit, so all four corners are adjusted to the correct pressures and inspected for signs of abnormal wear. To ensure wheels are turning freely, brakes are checked for binding and wheel bearings for play and vibration.
To keep the engine running freely, its oil and filter are changed and replaced with the highest grade of lubricant, which your engine will appreciate no matter how far into the service interval it may be. Also included are a fuel system clean and a check of the air conditioning which can be a notable drain on a vehicle’s efficiency if not running optimally.
Offered for just £99, the price of the ecoFLEX Fuel Efficiency Service drops to just £29 if completed in combination with your car’s regular service.
