Tesla to launch Roadster 2.5

It’s been a big week for electric car maker Tesla Motors – no sooner had the company enjoyed a successful debut on the stock exchange, it announced a brand new version of its Roadster model.

The Roadster 2.5 will debut simultaneously with the opening of two new stores in Newport Beach, California, and Copenhagen, Denmark.

So what improvements can we expect from the Tesla Roadster 2.5?

The electric sports car will boast a new look with a new front fascia with diffusing vents and a rear diffuser that is likely to offer a window into the future of Tesla’s designs. In addition, the vehicle will boast directional forged wheels; new seats with improved comfort; an optional seven inch touchscreen display with back-up camera; power control hardware; and improved interior sound reduction.

The changes have been prompted by customer feedback with more than 1,200 current owners in 23 countries having so far logged more than five million miles in the original Roadster.
