The Paris Motor Show 2010 is inching ever closer and now Opel/Vauxhall has announced plans to introduce a host of new ecoFLEX models at the event.
Three new diesel versions of the Meriva will be added to its line-up during the show including the new 1.3 CDTI ecoFLEX which boasts 21 per cent more power than its ecoFLEX predecessor and yet manages to lower emissions by 11.2 per cent to just 119g/km.
Also joining the diesel field for the Meriva is two versions of the 1.7 CDTI engine that develops up to 300Nm of torque and has an average fuel consumption of 45mpg.
In addition, Opel/Vauxhall will introduce start/stop technology on the Corsa 1.3 CDTI and Agila 1.2 petrol model. It is expected that by the end of 2011, all of its major car lines will offer start/stop technology.
The company will also debut the Insignia 2.0 CDTI ecoFLEX with fuel consumption and emissions flashed to 48mpg and 129g/km of CO2.
