Honda to debut new electric car in LA

Honda is to unveil an all-new electric vehicle concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show which opens its doors to the world’s media on Wednesday (November 17, 2010).

The world debut of the new vehicle will be displayed alongside a plug-in hybrid platform to show the Japanese firm’s next-generation of hybrid technology.

The Honda FCX Clarity

Both vehicles, together with the famous FCX Clarity fuel cell vehicle will be at the show to demonstrate the company’s vision for the future of personal mobility, and its continued commitment to developing advanced environmental technologies.

The car maker is set to release further details when the show opens for a press preview tomorrow when TheGreenCarWebsite.co.uk will be able to bring you more details (and hopefully a picture).

The Los Angeles Auto Show, one of the oldest and most respected motor shows in the world, opens its doors to the public from the 19-28 November 2010 at the Convention Center in Los Angeles.

I hope the Honda EV range is better than the Leaf’s. The 100 mile range will relegate the cars to in city travel, which isn’t enough for most of us to trade in our 4 cyl car that can go anywhere, anytime.
