Peugeot launches bookings for diesel hybrid

With only 300 units of its limited edition diesel hybrid to be produced, Peugeot is now launching bookings for its 3008 Hybrid4 Limited Edition that will appear at the Geneva Motor Show today.

The Peugeot 3008 Hybrid4 comes with a 2.0litre HDi FAP 120kW diesel engine and an electric motor that has a maximum power output of 27kW. Maximum torque can reach 500Nm and is split between 300Nm at the front from the HDi diesel engine and 200Nm at the rear.

Thanks to the design of the powertrain, four-wheel drive is possible as well as all-electric mode. Fuel consumption is 62mpg with CO2 emissions at 99g/km. With higher specification versions, emissions can reach 104 or 108g/km.

The vehicle will go on sale in France for €41,500.
