With deliveries of the first electric C-Zero models now underway, Citroen has announced a list of eleven dealers from its current network which are primed and ready for the sales and servicing of its revolutionary new car.
Interest in electric cars is at an all-time high as the first models as the first EV models become available to buy and lease under the Government’s Plug-in Car Grants, with the C-Zero, one of the first to become available.
Based on Mitsubishi’s i-MiEV platform, the electric car has a driving range of up to 93 miles to a full charge, a top speed of 80mph and can accelerate from 0-62mph in 15.9 seconds.
The 11 dealers that make up the Citroën’s new ‘Electric Vehicle Specialist Dealer Network’ have been selected to provide wide geographical coverage of the UK and are typically located in larger cities and areas associated with the Government’s Infrastructure support – known as Plugged-in Places.

All of Citroën’s EV specialist dealers will provide a C-ZERO demonstrator for customer test drives, plus an electric vehicle charging bay – complete with a charging post, hard standing and signage. The dealers also have two nominated sales and two aftersales electric vehicle specialists who will be fully trained, with access to all the necessary special tools and equipment to prepare, service and maintain the new C-ZERO city car.
Available exclusively from one of the new EV dealers, Citroën, both business and private customers can lease the C-ZERO for £415 per month (excl. VAT) over 4 years or 40,000 miles. The offer includes the lease of the vehicle, the battery pack, and all scheduled servicing and maintenance.
