Better Place introduces Renault Fluence in Israel

The first electric vehicle as part of the Better Place project has been introduced in Israel.

The Renault Fluence ZE will be available for US$34,865 with buyers given a choice of service packages ranging from 12,400miles to 18,600miles. The service packages will include installation and maintenance of a home recharging system and access to Better Place’s replacement stations and road-side service.

The package costs $309 a month including VAT for 20,000km and $454 a month for 30,000km. A one-time, three year subscription for up to 25,000km a year costs $44,680.

According to Better Place, the package cuts the cost of vehicle maintenance by 20 per cent.
