Canada’s biggest electric vehicle show returns for the 16th year this Saturday (June 11, 2011) with displays including the Tesla Roadster and the Toyota RAV4 EV.
The show also gives its visitors the special opportunity to learn about Translink’s state-of-the-art electric trolley and hybrid buses from Coast Mountain Bus Company and see the University of British Columbia’s VW E-Beetle- recent star of the Vancouver International Auto Show and the first electric car to drive across the width of Canada.
Additional displays from leading local electric car companies include Future Vehicle Technologies’ X-Prize electric car, Canadian Electric Vehicles, Electric AutoSports – all proud British Columbia-based businesses. Leviton will show their new home charging station receptacles.
The eatArt Foundation (energy awareness through art) will also display their eclectic contributions to electric transportation and power generation, including a mobile solar PV array which will assist in powering live music performances and recharging electric cars.
