Breakthrough for electric car charging in Holland

Electric car charging company Coulomb Technologies has announced thatHolland’s charging station manufacturer Alfen’s public charging station is the latest to be compatible with its network.

The ChargePoint Network from Coulomb gives station owners cloud-based service plans that handle all driver billing and support, while also offering control and flexibility for successful charging operations.

Meanwhile, Coulomb has also announced a partnership with TomTom to extend its ChargePoint Network driver service into electric vehicles.

As part of the partnership, drivers will be able to get charging station locations, navigation and reservation services on their dashboard. With their TomTom systems they will be able to find their nearest charging station; navigate to a destination; reserve a charging station in advance; and access information including power, availability, connector type and pricing.
