Toyota to take Sienna model to South Korea

The US-built Toyota Sienna will soon be distributed in South Korea after Toyota announced plans to bring around 600 units to the country annually.

Currently the Toyota Sienna is produced at Toyota’s manufacturing plant in Princeton, Indiana and has not yet been shipped outside the US. However, from November, the Sienna will be exported following a complete redesign that caters to traditional family van needs and meets growing demand for more responsive driving character and on-board “info-tainment” technology.

Toyotahas actually been exporting US-built vehicles since 1988 and these exports reached 100,000 units in 2010. By taking the Toyota Sienna to South Korea, it will be exporting US-assembled vehicles to 19 countries around the world.
