Hybrid and electric cars get cooler

At TheGreenCarWebsite.co.uk, we’ve always thought that hybrid cars and electric cars are pretty cool – but now they’re about to get even cooler.

That’s because Johnson Electric is introducing a new cooling fan product line exclusively for battery powered vehicles. The module has a long life to continuously manage the battery temperature during the operating and recharging cycles of both plug-in hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles.

Designed to maximise airflow with low weight and quiet operation, the CFM (cooling fan module) EV product line covers the requirements of light hybrids, full hybrids and electric cars with an airflow performance ranging from 30-70litres with air pressure up to 600pa. It is variable to ensure the battery is cooled by the vehicle ECU.
