Honda to bring more efficient Civic to Paris Motor Show

Amid all the exciting new concepts destined for the Paris Motor Show, there are also some significant tweaks being unveiled to already well-established vehicles.

The latest is the Honda Civic – which will unveil a new 1.6litre I-DTEC diesel engine at the motoring showcase (pictured).

The engine will be the first in Europe to include Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology series, a 120PS engine that boasts fuel economy figures of 65mpg and CO2 emissions of 94g/km.

In addition, Honda will also debut a fourth-generation CR-V model – which, for the first time in Europe, will be offered with a choice between either two- or four-wheel drive. The improvements to its engines have also led to a reduction in CO2 emissions.

Finally, Honda will also exhibit the CR-Z with increased power for both the petrol engine and electric motor; while the Honda EV-STER will also be on display: a new electric sports concept model.
