It would appear to be the logical next step to link light van CO2 emissions to the VED rate but in the short term this does not appear to be on the agenda. Should the situation change, we will obviously cover it on this website.

All at TheGreenCarWebsite.co.uk would welcome the extension of the VED/CO2 emissions to cover light vans as there are large discrepancies between essentially identical engined car and van variants. In the interests of fairness to the more environmentally friendly light van drivers in the country it would make sense.

Do you have any idea if there will be a link between VED and CO2 emissions for light vans (up to 3500Kg) in the near future?
