History of the MyCar

Originally distributed by Nice Car Company, the MyCar is now distributed in the UK by evstores. evstores has an outlet on Park  Lane, London. Founded in 2007,  the company offers a range of electric scooters, cars and commercial vehicles.

Environmental credentials of the MyCar

All electric vehicles boast zero emissions and the MyCar is no exception. Arguments continue about the true neutrality of electric cars given the fact that their energy often comes from non-renewable sources. However, electric vehicles still produce notably fewer emissions than conventional cars even with the carbon dioxide (CO2) produced during energy generation factored in.

With environmental benefits come huge financial incentives. The MyCar is exempt from the London Congestion Charge and is also free from vehicle excise duty. Perhaps the most notable savings however, come over the lifetime of the vehicle at the pump. It is estimated by the AA that fuel prices in 2008 have grown by approximately 20 per cent, which is why electric cars such as the MyCar have become an increasingly attractive proposition.

The MyCar is ideal for city motoring with a range of up to 60 miles and a top speed of 40mph.
