A novel and innovative solution to the age old economic problem of supply and demand has been hatched by Norwegian Electric Vehicle Manufacturer, TH!NK, with the introduction of the EV Friendliness Index. Ahead of the 2009 launch of the TH!NK city electric vehicle the company has compiled a list of the fifteen friendliest cities in Europe for electric vehicles based on purchase incentives, usage measures and EV impact. Electric car retailer, NICE Car Company is ready to open a second retail outlet. From tomorrow, (30 October) NICE will trading from within Westfield Shopping centre in Shepherds Bush. At Westfield, NICE will present its all-electric Mega City and MyCar models. CAT technology should be on the road in 2008.

French engineer, Guy Nègre is working with India’s Tata Motors to manufacture a car that is powered by CAT (compressed air technology). The cars, known as the Mini CAT (designed for town driving), the City CAT and the One CAT are expected to go on sale in India and Europe before the end of the year. The cars can reach up to 70mph and travel around 50 miles on a full tank at top speed.
