Porche announced on the 7th January 2007 that its new four-door Porsche Panamera GT will also be built as a hybrid version. The Panamera hybrid will feature components already used when constructing the Cayenne hybrid.

Porsche claim that the new hybrid will feature a mode that will allow the Panamera to run completely free of emissions. The release is pencilled in for early 2010.
